Roasted Pork Neck


Ingredients

  • 1: Kg Pork neck
  • 2: Tablespoons oil
  • 1: Teaspoon rock salt
  • 1: Teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1: Teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1: Teaspoon thyme (fresh or dried)

Steps

  • Step 1

    Clean the pork and set it aside.

  • Step 2

    Mix all the remaining ingredients and spread on the pork.

  • Step 3

    Set the pork aside and allow to marinate for 1 hour.

  • Step 4

    Gently place the pork on a medium heat barbeque.

  • Step 5

    Turn only twice (10min intervals) with tongs.

  • Step 6

    Remove the pork from the fire and let the meat rest for 15min before cutting.

  • Step 7

    Pour the pork juices from the chopping board over the cut slices.

  • Step 8

    Serve with a hot potato and pea mash
