Creamy Bacon Pasta


Ingredients

  • 2: Cups pasta (Penne, fusilli, rigatoni or any pasta of your choice)
  • 1: Tablespoon oil
  • 1: Cup chopped bacon
  • 1: Teaspoon fresh garlic chopped
  • ½: Cup fresh cream
  • 5: Cherry tomatoes
  • 2: Pinches of fresh oregano leaves, discard the stems
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps

  • Step 1

    In a medium pot boil the pasta until it is al dente(cooked until firm to the bite).

  • Step 2

    In a large pan fry the bacon in the oil over medium heat.

  • Step 3

    Add garlic to the bacon and fry for 1min.

  • Step 4

    Then add the cooked pasta and fresh cream and cook for 2min.

  • Step 5

    Season with salt and pepper.

  • Step 6

    Serve and sprinkle fresh oregano and chopped baby tomatoes on top of each serving.
